Is the Chiroflow® Waterbase® pillow guaranteed against manufacturing defects?

Yes, Chiroflow Inc. provides a 3-year warranty covering manufacturing defects. If you feel your pillow is defective you can return it to the retailer that you purchased it from a replacement pillow. Please be sure to give your patient a receipt to prove that the pillow is still under warranty.

Our patient has brought a pillow back to our office for a warranty issue, what do I do now?

If your patient is within the 3 year warranty pillow:

Fiberfill pillow 3 year warranty: have the patient return the entire pillow. Provide a patient with a replacement.

Gel Memory Foam pillow 3 year warranty: have the patient return ONLY the cover. They need to keep the foam core.

All you need to do is follow the instructions on the warranty form for that type of pillow and mail in all requested items. Once we receive the warranty form:

Fiberfill pillow 3 year warranty: We will send the office a replenishment of stock.

Gel Memory Foam pillow 3 year warranty: we will mail the replacement cover to either the patient or the office. Be sure to indicate where it should be mailed on the warranty form.

How does the 30 day satisfaction guarantee work?

The process is similar to the 3 year warranty. If the patient is returning the pillow within 30 days, have them bring the pillow back and provide a full refund. All you need to do is follow the instructions on the warranty form and mail in all requested items. Once we receive the warranty form, we will send your clinic a pillow to replenish your stock with a new Chiroflow pillow.

How much water should be used?

One of the best features the Chiroflow Waterbase pillow offers is that it is completely customizable when it comes to firmness. Patients are able to add or subtract water, customizing it to their desired level of comfort. To start off we suggest patients use 3 quarts of water, and work their way up from there.

How long can the water stay in my pillow before it needs to be changed?

The water can be left in the pillow for up to one year, and then it should be changed. Many people like to wash their pillows, so that is a good time to change the water, because need to empty the water from the pillow before washing it.

Is normal tap water okay to use in the pillow?

Yes. If you use well water, you might want to add a few drops of bleach to the pillow water.

Can the pillow be washed?

Yes, the Waterbase pillow can be washed according to the instructions on the care label.

Original Fiberfill Pillow:

Empty the water from the pillow and replace the cap. Make sure the cap is replaced before washing. Water temperature should not exceed 105 degrees. Let the pillow air dry or use the “no heat” setting on your dryer.

New Gel Memory Foam Pillow:

Empty the water from the pillow and replace the cap. Unzip pillow and remove gel foam core. Place only the cover in the washing machine. Water temperature should not exceed 105 degrees. Let the pillow air dry or use the “no heat” setting on your dryer. After it is dry, put the foam core back into the case and re-zip.

Which side of the pillow do I sleep on?

The pillow should be placed “cap down” against your mattress.

What is the size of the Chiroflow Professional Waterbase pillow?

The Chiroflow® pillow is a “Jumbo” size – it is 20″ x 28″ and will fit a standard or queen pillow case.

What type of polyester filling is used in the Chiroflow  pillow?

Our pillow is filled with a high-quality, machine-washable Dacron StaLoft Fiberfill with a special finish to insure that it does not “lump up” or flatten out. It will respond quite well to periodic washing to rejuvenate the polyester.

Is Chiroflow hypoallergenic?

Yes.
